    I am going to write about how people use prejudice to gain power over other people. Some evidence would be Jim Crow, segregation, immigration. An idea for someone else would be rebuilding comes after destruction.

    My topic is that rebuilding comes after destruction. Some evidence would be that our country was rebuilt from the result of the civil war. An idea for another student would be people are greedy.

    My topic is that people with differences are often forced or cast out. Some examples of this would be the treatment of native americans and the holocoust. Another idea for a student is poor people are treated poorly. haha. ;P

    My topic is that the economy is constantly going up and down. This is exemplified by the depression of the 1920s, the bank panic of 1819 and today's recession along with he good states of the economy after each problem. An idea for someone else is that the veto power of presidents is used as a power abuse by certain presidents and well by others.

    My Topic is that Power is only abused when the abuse is allowed. Some examples of this is Hitler's rise to power,The Political Bosses of the 1800's,
    The war against the Indians, and The Panama Canal. An idea for someone else is that Humanitarian Aid is sometimes used as an excuse for taking over someone else.

    I was thinking about doing something to do with that late groups can often be divided. An example of this would be the civil war. An more recently sarah palin trying to split therepublican part.     My topic is about how even though segregation has ended, racism still has a big effect on society. Some examples of this are immigration, jim crow laws, and 9/11. An idea for someone else is that technology is both improving lifee but at the same time making things worse. ;D

    My statement is that groups of people think that violence is the answer to solving problems. Examples are the Civil War, the battles between the "whites" and Native Americans, and battles from the Revolutions. Another idea is that people in history has the charisma to never give up on their goals.

    My topic is that population concures. My evidence is that when we banded together against the British we ended up coming out on top. Also when we helped Cuba to overcome the Spanish.     My topic is that when there is a huge civilization or empire, it eventually falls. A recent example would be the Nazi empire in the 1940s or the fall of the Soviet Union. A topic for someone else might be how war really does solve problems. An example of that could be World War II helped America get out of the Great Depression.

    The topic I thought of doing would be how technology influences the identity of the times. A few examples might include: The turn of the century (1900s), the Renaissance, and the present day. An interesting topic that someone might want to pursue is the concept that there are always ulterior motives for war, such as the Spanish American War, the Iraq War, and the numerous wars with Native Americans.

    My topic is about how a person can manipulate or brainwash a group of people to do anything that one person says. An example would be how Hitler brainwashed the German nation which led to the Holocaust. Another example would be how cult leaders manipulate people's ideas and cause them to hurt themselves and/or others.

    My topic is as Drew said three comments before-hand which is religion shapes the decisions people make. (and yes i did tweak it a lil'). I want to thank Drew for the idea since i was in the dark. Another persons idea could be the "media wields the power to shape people's opinions".
