Dynamic Harmony in the Class

This page was inspired by Nick Drummond's work - Dynamic Development and Harmony in the Class.

Students are able to develop and allow their natural, dynamic interest to flower when there are structures in place to support you. When there is a dynamic harmony present in the room it makes mindful learning possible. When you learn mindfully education is a living experience that develops you and makes a higher understanding possible!
Here are some ideas and student testimonials for you to consider. Enjoy!

C.O.R.E. makes us feel relaxed. The reason it makes me feel relaxed is because it so quiet, peaceful and others respect you. Meditation also helps us and I believe would help people in other classes as well as all over the world.

C.O.R.E. and letting everything be as it is helps us relax and pay attention. C.O.R.E. has taught me to respect other people and watch what I say and do. It has helped me understand math, be on time to class. It has helped me ask questions when I don’t know how to do something, instead of sitting there doing nothing.

C.o.r.E. kind of helps because it makes the atmosphere more easier to work in. It helps us communicate because when it’s quiet and the atmosphere is good it’s easier to communicate.

A class room of support and friendship means you are a part of everything all of the time and we depend on you for success.

In class I think C.O.R.E. helps because it makes you make the right choices and keeps you focused. It is a great way to keep your classroom and students in check ‘cause you will be organized, you will make effort on all work. C.O.R.E. reminds you to show and give respect to get it. Talk when you raise your hand. C.O.R.E. makes you feel relaxed and on your way to success. It may feel like a joke at first – but it isn’t. It really works.

C.O.R.E. stabilizes the class room. C.O.R.E. & S.L.A.N.T. help benefit us in succeeding in math and MCAS.

C.O.R.E. is a way to learn about how we can help each other develop in the classroom. We can replace fear with dynamic harmony.
